Left site for scheduled inspections at 9:15AM. 10/26/2021 – Mark Trethewey on-site at 10:25AM. Tank A had been set within a sloped excavation on pea-gravel, installation was not observed. The tank was installed with two deadmen per side using six fiberglass straps. Tank B was observed being set within the sloped excavation on pea-gravel. The tank was also installed with two deadmen per side using six fiberglass straps. One (1), Containment Solutions DW Fiberglass tank (EQ-191) (TK-C) followed. The tank has a brine-filled interstice. No leaks apparent. The tank was observed off loaded and staged on pea gravel. Tank C was observed being set within the sloped excavation on pea-gravel, not observed. The tank was also installed with two deadmen per side using four fiberglass straps. The tanks were set into the excavation with an East-West orientation. Tank A (DEP #2) is in the middle. Tank B (DEP #1) is Northern-most with the 12K compartment to the East and Tank C is Southern-most. Clean pea gravel lined the bottom of the excavation and clean pea gravel will be used as backfill surrounding the tanks. The excavation is lined, groundwater was not observed. Brine reservoirs are holding steady. 10/26/2021 – Mark Trethewey on-site at 4:45PM. Tanks have been backfilled. 12/7/2021 – Mark Trethewey on-site at 2:00PM. NUPI (EQ-525) double-wall primary piping had been installed along with Containment Solution STP sumps (EQ-395) and NUPI model 19DDS3617 dispenser liners (also EQ-525). The primary lines had been pressurized at 55 psig and have held steady, within normal physical parameters, since yesterday. (Regular – set 55 / now 56; Premium – set 55 / now 56; E0 – set 55 / now 56: Diesel – set 55 / now 56). There is also a second Regular line (two STPs from the Regular Tank) set 55 / now 56. The secondary piping had been pressurized at 5 psig and have held steady, within normal physical parameters, since yesterday. (Regular – set 5 / now 5.5; Premium – set 5 / now 6; E0 – set 5 / now 6: Diesel – set 5 / now 5.9. NOTE: Secondary Regular is looped. The piping is set on pea-stone, trenches were fabric-lined in preparation for pea-stone backfill. Piping is one piece electro-fused; no soap tests were required. All lines appear tight at this time. The NUPI model 19DDS3617 dispenser liners and Containment Solutions STP tank sumps were also hydro tested. Water was introduced to liners and sumps yesterday and all are currently holding at the mark. All liners and sumps appear tight at this time. NOTE: Piping manufacturer was changed due to supply issues. Originally Ameron now NUPI. Dispenser liners are part of piping EQ. 4/22/2022 – Mark Trethewey on-site at 1:30PM. Final installation inspection performed. The alarm history for all sensors was printed to verify that an operability test had been conducted. After review of tape, it appears that all fifteen (15) release detection sensors had been tested and were found to be operational. (NOTE: There is currently no designation for L-4). The sensors were physically positioned and anchored properly. Piping test boot valve stems in the STP sumps were open to permit interstitial monitoring. Fill covers were properly marked, verified that drop tubes were installed. The interstitial spill bucket gauges were green, showing no breach of integrity. Inspected Dispensers 1 through 16, All shear valves are rigidly anchored. Jumpers are located within the liners for secondary piping. Facility is equipped with generator connection for Emergency Preparedness. The following documents are due within 30 days. 1. Underground Storage Tank Installation and Removal Form for Certified Contractors. 2. Copies of the start-up tank, line precision tightness tests, test results of the MLLDs, sensors and monitor. Test results of the overfill protection devices. Spill bucket vacuum tests. Hydro tests. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Guarantee: 4/25/2021 – 8/27/2022. (all other CK systems, ensure that this Facility and tanks are added to policy). RELEASE DETECTION, as of 4/25/2022: a.
