Description: Met onsite with Jeff Mack (Facilities Services Manager) for this routine tank compliance inspection. A copy of this inspection report and compliance assistance offer letter will be email to Brice Pelfrey at bpelrey@stirlingprop.com and Jeff Mack at jmack@stirlingprop.com. Tanks: Tank #1 and Tank #2 are both 3006 gallons Fidelity Manufacturing, LLC, Double-Wall Generator Base Tanks (EQ-497) containing diesel fuel to supply an emergency generator. Both tanks were installed February 2023. The exterior of the tanks appeared to be in good condition. Piping: Synthetic Fuel Supply and Return Hoses Spill Containment: Fidelity Manufacturing, 7.5 Gallon Spill Bucket for ASTs (EQ-778). Both spill containments appeared to be mostly clean and dry at the time of inspection. Overfill Prevention: FPI High Fuel Level Sensor/Alarm (EQ-817). Annual Operability Testing of the Overfill Prevention Device was unavailable at the time of inspection -Violation Issued. Release Detection: FPI High Fuel Level Sensor/Alarm (EQ-817). Annual Operability Testing of the Release Detection Device was unavailable at the time of inspection -Violation Issued. Records: No records were available to review at the time of inspection. Current Placard was not posted at the facility – Area of Concern Issued. Financial Responsibility was unavailable at the time of inspection – Violation Issued. (850-393-3545 / billcarroll@aeci.ws) EQUIPMENT INSTALLED: TANKS: (EQ-497) Two Double-Wall Generator Base Tanks, Fidelity Manufacturing, LLC containing Vehicular Diesel to supply an emergency generator. Tank #1 and Tank #2 are 3006 gallons Double-Wall Generator Base Tank, Fidelity Manufacturing, LLC (EQ-497). The tanks are equipped with a FPI interstitial sensor/alarm for release detection (EQ-817). The tanks are also equipped with a FPI high fuel level alarms (EQ-817) and Rochester Fuel Level Gauges (EQ-901) for overfill protection. The AST systems are also equipped with a spill/fill box from the manufacturer (EQ-778). Furthermore, the tank is equipped with a primary emergency vent and secondary emergency vent. For piping the systems are equipped with synthetic fuel supply and return hoses that run from the tank tops to the generators itself. The tanks are bolted down to a concrete pad. All sensors were tested prior to the systems being placed into service. All components of the AST systems appear to have been installed according to manufactures instructions.
