Description: TANKS: Tank 4 and tank 5 are a fiberglass, double wall underground storage tank systems that were installed in April of 2013. These tanks use pressurized piping system to transport fuel from the tanks through double wall piping to dispensers. Both of these tanks are 20000 gallons tanks with tank 5 being compartmented to have vehicular diesel (10000 gallons), E10 premium fuel (8000 gallons), and non-ethanol premium fuel (8000 gallons). Tank 4 is 20000 gallon capacity is towards regular unleaded fuel. Tank 4 registration of fuel content needs to be updated - violation was issued. STP SUMPS: The STP sumps were clean and dry at the time of inspection with boots appearing to be maintained in good condition. SPILL CONTAINMENT: The double wall spill containment buckets were clean and dry at the time of inspection. Interstitial gauges showed no liquid in secondary. Additionally, all spill buckets were brought into API compliance OVERFILL PREVENTION: The facility has listed both ball floats and drop tube shut-off devices for overfill prevention. Confirm the devices in associated tanks and update registration as necessary. DISPENSERS: The dispenser sumps were clean and dry at the time of inspection. Dispenser hoses and nozzles, along with associated boots appeared to be maintained in good condition as well. RELEASE DETECTION: The facility uses a Veeder Root Automatic Tank Gauge system to monitor the interstitial space of the USTs with sensors also in sumps. All systems were normal on ATG at time of inspection. RECORDS: The following facility records were received, including the Operator Training Certifications, Placard posted in facility, associated tank component testing, monthly visual inspection with electronic release detection ATG printouts, and financial responsibility forms. The annual operability testing for integrity testing of the dispenser sump and STP sump was not provided or conducted - violation was issued. Due to a technical issue when disconnecting, signatures for the inspection was unable to be obtained. Annual Inspection for July 2022 Dispenser #7/8 sump sensor is not operational – possible wiring issue. Problem Description Annual Inspection for July 2022 Dispenser #7/8 sump sensor is not operational – possible wiring issue. 9/23/2022 Arrived on site, put safety cone on other side of pump. Opened up dispenser and opened up junction box for sensor. Went inside and checked veeder root everything was good on it. Was showing no codes. We did some investigating and thought it was a bad field wire, but it wasn’t showing any codes on veeder root. Unhooked sensor from field wire and Ohmed out field wire from inside veeder root, phoned it out and determined the wire was good. Hooked up new sensor to field wiring and hooked field wiring back up in veeder root. Turned the sensor upside down to try to trigger alarm, still no alarm. Went into menu on veeder root and discovered that the sensor was disabled, enabled alarm and it started showing a code. Put sensor back in normal and code cleared. Checked again to make sure sensor was working good, it was. Put seal pack onto sensor and wire connections, everything was good. Took pictures, put everything back together and put covers back on gas pump and left the job site
