The facility is currently in enforcement from violations that were cited during the 2023 routine tank compliance inspection. Tank: Tank #1R1 is a 20,000 gallons Modern Welding Company of Florida, Inc. Double-Wall Glassteel II Underground Storage that (EQ-156) that has two compartmented containing 14,000 gallons Regular Unleaded and 6,000 gallons Premium Unleaded. Tank #1R1 was installed June 2006. Piping: OPW Pisces Piping (EQ-285) with mechanical line leak detectors (Red Jacket FX-1, EQ-373). Annual Operability Testing of the Line Leak Detectors were unavailable -Violation Issued. Dispensers: OPW Flexworks Series Dispenser Liners (EQ-318). The dispenser sumps were mostly clean and dry at the time of inspection. The boots appeared to be in good condition. The hoses and nozzles appeared to be in good condition. STP Sump: OPW Flexworks Series Sumps (EQ-318). The STP sumps appeared to be mostly clean and dry at the time of inspection. The boots appeared to be in good condition. Spill Containment: OPW 500 Series Contained Spill Buckets (EQ-588). The double wall spill containment was mostly clean and dry at the time of inspection. Annual Integrity Testing of the Spill Containment Gauges were unavailable -Violation Issued. Overfill Prevention: Emco Wheaton Guardian Dual Point Overfill Prevention Valve (EQ-414). Annual Operability Testing of the Valves were unavailable -Violation Issued. Release Detection: The tank’s interistial sensor is being manually sticked each other by the facility owner. The facility has a Veeder-Root Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) TLS-350 (EQ-033) that is used for inventory purposes only. Monthly Visual Inspections are being conducted by the facility. Records: Most facility records were received, including monthly visual inspection with electronic release detection ATG printouts, and financial responsibility forms and the current placard was available at the facility. I have the above referenced facility due for their routine petroleum storage tank inspection. I will be in the area Tuesday, January 10, 2023 starting at 09:00 AM. I will need to meet with someone to accompany me and provide access to all the tank related equipment. Manual shut off valve, Morrison clock gauge, Intersticial vent and Kruger float gauge for monitoring interstice.
