| Message: | Good Morning Mayor Blackwell and Ms. Miller, Our office is contracted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to administer the Storage Tanks Compliance Program in your county. An audit of our records revealed unresolved violations at several of your facilities as described in the attached letter and reports. Pursuant to Orange County’s contract with FDEP, we are compelled to refer your case to the state for enforcement if the violations still exist. If the tank system violations have been properly addressed, we can assist your staff with providing necessary documentation to show compliant status and can update the FDEP FIRST database accordingly to reflect resolved violations.
