| Description: | Jeff Parks from Lee County met with your facility representative to conduct the Compliance Inspection of a non-retail fuel tank. TANKS: Consists of one (1) 2,000-gallon diesel, aboveground tank. Tank coating appears to be in satisfactory condition. No dripping/leaking issues were observed during the inspection. The tank interstice is manually sticked on a monthly basis and documented. Verified to be dry at time of inspection. SPILL CONTAINMENT: - Single-walled (SW) spill bucket mounted on top of the tank, with a drain valve that goes directly into the tank. The tank is set into concrete secondary containment. OVERFILL PROTECTION: – The vents are present and observed to be in satisfactory condition. Overfill protection consists of visual observation and sticking. PIPING – There is no piping associated with the system, except for the supply and return lines which are flexible hoses connected directly to the generator. No anti-siphon or solenoid valve is required, the generator rests on top of the tank and is not producing a gravity head. RELEASE DETECTION: The facility conducts monthly visual inspections of visible/exposed tank components including: piping, tank coating, sumps, spill containment buckets. The visual and audible alarm panels were checked and found to be functioning properly. The tank interstice is manually stick in a monthly basis and documented. The tank interstitial was verified to be dry at time of inspection PLACARD: The Placard expiration date is: June 30, 2023. Storage tank registration fees are due to the Department each year by July 1. Ensure that your contact information is up-to-date with the Department in order to receive updates concerning your annual registration fees. Once fees are paid, you must print a copy of your placard from the Department's website: http://www.fldepportal.com/go/submit-registration/.
