| Description: | Release detection methods for the facility's AST system are outlined on the RDRL, and the RDRL is attached to the General Facility Information. Tank registration placard is current and onsite. Please complete the Certification of Financial Responsibility form provided during the inspection. Monthly visual release detection records for the AST system for March 2008 through June 2009 are well organized and complete. The 1,500-gallon double-wall steel UL-142 sub-base generator AST is satisfactory. Recommend refinishing the steel AST to prevent corrosion. The steel spill bucket at the AST fill pipe is satisfactory, and the spill bucket is marked to identify the product stored in the tank. A threaded pipe cap is installed on the AST fill pipe. No fuel leaks were observed at the fuel hoses within the generator enclosure. The annunciator panels / tank monitors located in the generator enclosure and at the security/loss prevention office are operational, and no alarms are active on the annunciator panels. The tank rupture sensor circuits on both annunciators have been clearly labeled. Annual operability test record for the AST electronic release detection equipment was performed on 7/16/2009 by Tampa Armature Works. | ||||||||||
