15-FEB-06  Ring Power Corporation Has A Division Located At 330 Pecan Park Road That Performs Repairs On Trucks And Heavy Equipment. They Have Been Operating At This Location For Six Months. The Facility Consists Of Offices, Eight Truck Bays And Four Heavy Equipment Bays. They Have A Wash Rack That Is Used To Clean Trucks And Heavy Equipment. There Is A Water Recycling And Oil/Water Separator System Connected To The Wash Rack. The Dirt And Sludge Is Collected And Managed As Non-Hazardous Petroleum Based Contaminated Soil. They Have Double Walled Aboveground Tanks Containing Diesel, Off-Road Fuel, Lubricants, And Antifreeze. They Also Have Two Underground 500-Gallon Propane Tanks. Zep I.D. Red Is Stored In 55-Gallon Drums And Used To Clean Off Decals. The Solvent Is Applied To Rags To Wipe Off Glue. 
15-FEB-06  (Continued) The Rags Are Then Collected In Metal Containers And Cleaned By A Commercial Laundry. There Are No Floor Drains In The Repair Area. Used Oil And Used Antifreeze Are Collected In Separate Portable Containers. The Waste Fluids Are Then Pumped Into Separate Double Walled, Aboveground Tanks Located Outside Of The Building. The Portable Containers Used To Collect The Used Oil Were Not Labeled Properly With The Words "Used Oil". The Aboveground Tank Containing The Used Oil Also Was Not Labeled Properly. Used Oil Filters Are Stored In 55-Gallon Drums Inside The Building. They Have Four System One Parts Washers And One Recycling Parts Washer. All Of The Parts Washers Are Leased And Serviced By Safety-Kleen. The Premium Gold 150 Solvent Is Used In All Of The Units. Waste Sludge Is Collected From The Parts Washers And Stored In A 20-Gallon Drum. They Have Accumulated Approximately Five Gallons Over The Last Six Months. The Service Manager Plans To Have The Sludge Tested Prior To Disposal. He Agreed To Provide Copies Of The Test And Manifest To This Activity. Lead-Acid Batteries Are Stored Outside, On A Pallet. They Take The Batteries To Their Main Facility In Saint Augustine, Florida Where Their Battery Distributor Transports Them. 
19-DEC-08  This Inspection Was Done Jointly By The Florida Department Of Environmental Protection (Fdep) And The City Of Jacksonville. Subsequent To The Inspection, Ring Power Provided Fdep With Information That The Parts Washer Solvent And Sludge Are Being Handled As A D001/F005 Waste. This Waste Stream Is Being Added And The Status Is Being Changed From Non-Hazardous But Otherwise Regulated To Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator. The Federal Employer'S Identification Number Is 59-0934246.

17-NOV-20  Following Receipt Of The 2021 Database Information Form, Rick Vaughn Contacted The Environmental Quality Division To Inform Us That Enough Though Ring Power Corporation Is Generating Less Than A 100 Kilograms A Month At This Facility, They Will Be Operating As A Small Quantity Generator For 2021. Mr. Vaughn Stated Ring Power Will File A Subsequent Notification To The Florida Department Of Environmental Protection Changing Their Generator Status To A Small Quantity Generator In The Coming Months.
