13-JUN-07  Zambetti Steel Products, Inc. Was Sold On May 1, 2007 To Mmfx Steel Corporation Of America. This Facility Consists Of One Building That Houses Offices In The Front And A Large Open Warehouse In The Rear. Mmfx Is Just Getting Started Up And Will Be Operating The Same As Zambetti. The Work Done Here Consists Of Steel Fabrication. This Includes Cutting, Bending, And Shaping Metal Products. No Painting Or Parts Washing Is Done. The Fabrication Equipment And Forklifts Used In The Warehouse Are Serviced By Southern States Toyota. There Is No Vehicle Maintenance Done On Site. There Is No Regulated Or Hazardous Waste Being Generated At This Time. Approximately Half Of The Warehouse Will Be Used To Store Metal Products. The Other Half Is Used To Store Hurricane Relief Materials For Fema And The State Of Florida. 
23-FEB-12  Mmfx Steel Corporation Of America Went Out Of Business At This Address Sometime After The Last Hazardous Waste Program Inspection In 2007. 8750 Philips Highway Was Vacant On The Date Of The Current Inspection. 
25-MAR-14  Flagler Construction Equipment, Formerly Chaz# 29912 At 2663 Roberts Street, Is Currently At This Address. Zambetti Steel Products, Inc. And Mmfx Steel Corporation Of America Were Previously At This Address. 
16-DEC-14  Flagler Construction Equipment Is A Used Volvo Construction Vehicle Dealership And Has Been At This Location For One Year. Zambetti Steel Products, Inc. And Mmfx Steel Corporation Of America Were Previously At This Address. The Facility Consists Of An Office Space And A Three-Bay Warehouse With No Hydraulic Lifts. There Were No Floor Drains Noted. Used Oil Filters Are Collected In Two Labeled 55-Gallon Drums Stored Inside The Building. Used Oil Is Collected In Labeled Mobile Containers And Transferred Into A Labeled 500-Gallon Single-Walled Aboveground Tank Located Inside The Building. The Building Serves As Secondary Containment For The Storage Of The Used Oil Tank. Used Antifreeze Is Stored In A Labeled 250-Gallon Plastic Container Located In The Same Area. The Service Manager. Mr. Jon Valentine, Was Given A Copy Of The Used Oil Management Fact Sheet And Used Antifreeze Management Handout. There Were Two Sink Style Parts Washers Located In The Facility. The Solvent Used In The Parts Washers Is Purewash Systems Tekusolv Ii Red. The Parts Washers Are Serviced By Certified Laboratories. The Msds Is Included In This Report. Mr. Valentine Stated That They Have Not Disposed Of Their Parts Washer Sludge But Plan To Dispose Of The Sludge With Their Used Oil. He Was Advised To Do A Hazardous Waste Determination On The Parts Washer Sludge Prior To Disposal. The Invoice For The Parts Washer Service Is Included In This Report. The Shop Rags Are Laundered By G & K Uniform Services. Spent Lead-Acid Batteries Are Taken By Interstate Battery Company For Recycling. There Were Disposal Records Available. Mr. Valentine Stated That They Have Not Replaced Any Fluorescent Lamps Since The Business Opened. He Was Advised About Handling Requirements For Spent Fluorescent Lamps. A Copy Of The Managing Spent Fluorescent And High Intensity Discharge (Hid) Lamps Handout Was Provided.
