The Facility Conducts Routine Maintenance On Their Vehicles On-Site. Used Oil Is Stored In A Properly Labeled, 200-Gallon Tank Inside Their Warehouse. Used Oil Filters Are Stored In A Properly Labeled Container.
The Facility Has A Parts Washer That Is Serviced By The Facility Approximately Quarterly. The Spent Solvent Is Collected In A Closed Drum For Disposal As Hazardous Waste. The Hazardous Waste Label Listed 2, 4 Dinitrotoluene And Tetrachloroethylene Which Did Not Appear To Be Ingredients In The Crown Paint Thinner That The Facility Currently Uses In The Parts Washer. The Facility Needs To Determine If The Drum Of Spent Parts Washer Solvent Contains These Ingredients Or If The Label Needs To Be Corrected To Reflect Hazardous Constituents In The Facility'S Current Parts Washer Solvent. The Facility Estimates That It Takes A Year To Fill A 55-Gallon Drum Of Spent Solvent Waste.
The Facility Is Currently Mixing Waste Antifreeze With The Used Oil. A.R. Paquette Must Discontinue This Practice As The Used Oil Recycling Facilities Are Not Set Up To Remove Antifreeze From Used Oil. A. R. Paquette Must Collect Waste Antifreeze In A Separate Container For Recycling.
