Routine; CESQG (<100 kg/month) - Routine; VSQG (<100 kg/month) St. Petersburg College, Downtown Campus, Was Inspected On December 15, 2008 To Evaluate The Facility'S Compliance With State And Federal Hazardous Waste Regulations. Ms. Anna Gillman Accompanied The Inspectors Throughout The Inspection. The Campus Is Notified With The Department As A Small Quantity Generator Of Hazardous Waste, However It Is Currently A Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator. This Was The Department'S First Visit To This Facility. | This Campus Generates Very Little Hazardous Waste. The Only Hazardous Waste That Was Observed To Have Been Generated Was One 55-Gallon Drum Of Unused Floor Stripper (D002) That Was Disposed Of Prior To The Inspection To Eq Florida. The Facility Utilizes Only A Soy-Based Solvent For Degreasing/Cleaning Activities And Latex Paints In The Maintenance Area. The Science Department Only Generates Non-Hazardous Wastes That Are Also Disposed Of To Eq. Universal Waste Batteries And Lamps Are Also Generated And Were Found To Be Properly Managed. This Campus Does Not Teach Any Art Or Vocational Classes. | St. Petersburg College, Downtown Campus, Was Found To Be Operating In Compliance With State And Federal Regulations Governing Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators At The Time Of The Inspection. | Please Approve Spc-Downtown Campus. | Submitted For Approval By Camp, Shannon D. |
