Routine; Used Oil Transporter On 01/28/2025, Jade Knight With The Florida Department Of Environmental Protection (Dep) Conducted A Routine Compliance Evaluation Inspection (Cei) Clean Fuels Of Florida Inc (Hereinafter Cf Or Facility), Located At 1862 Nw 21st St Ste B, Pompano Beach 33069. Cf Was Inspected To Determine The Facility’S Compliance With The State And Federal Hazardous Waste And Used Oil Regulations Described In Title 40, Code Of Federal Regulations (Cfr) Parts 260- 268, And 279, Adopted And Incorporated By Reference In Rule 62-730 And 62-710 Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.).
The Inspectors Spoke On The Phone At The Site Location With Jonathan Drew, Previous Clean Fuels Manager. Upon Arrival At The Facility The Inspectors Presented Their Credentials And Explained The Purpose Of The Inspection. Cf Has Been Purchased By Drew Fuel Services On May 6, 2024 (05/06/2024) And Closed. The Trucks And Operations Since That Date Have Been Under Drew Fuel Services Epa Id Flr000235903 At The Same Bay Location.
Notification History:
Cf Initially Registered With The Department As A Hazardous Waste, Used Oil, And Used Oil Filter Transporter On 01/30/2024 And Was Assigned The Epaid Flr000263525. The Facility Most Recently Registered On 04/02/2024 Under The Same Operations.
Inspection History:
The Facility Was Not Previously Inspected By The Department.
Personal Protective Equipment (Ppe) Was Not Required To Enter The Facility. The Department Inspectors Were Equipped With Steel-Toed Boots.
| Per The Phone Conversation With Jonathan Drew, They Managed Cf For Some Time Before The Owner Decided To Close The Facility And Sold The Trucks To Jonathan Drew. The Trucks Were Then Incorporated Into Drew Fuel Services Via Jonathan Drew Who Was Working There.
At The Time Of The Inspection, No Operations Under Cf Were Observed And Was Confirmed By Inspectors Cf Has Closed, And Drew Fuel Services Now Operates At That Location With Their Own Epa Id For Hazardous Waste, Used Oil, And Used Oil Filter Transportation With Their Fleet Of Trucks And The Trucks Purchased From Cf.
